We’re a couple in our 50’s looking to retire to the Sunshine Coast (around Maroochydore) in about 5 years. We are wanting to get a foothold in that market now as silent equity partners. We are looking to contribute $600K and either go in with another or two others to own 1/3 to purchase a more expensive apartment ($1.8m).
