Seeking Joint Resident or Silent Partner for Property Purchase in Surfers Paradise (50/50 Ownership Split)

I’m looking for someone to co-purchase a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, priced around $700K. This would be a 50/50 investment, where we’d each contribute $350K or share mortgage repayments accordingly.

What I’m Looking For:

• A joint resident or silent partner
  Ideally, someone looking to enter the property market who either has access to $350K or can comfortably service a mortgage on that amount.

• Open to a silent partner arrangement
  If you don’t plan to live in the property, I would rent out the second bedroom to help cover my portion of the repayments. (Just being upfront — I wouldn’t be able to carry both the mortgage and rent on my own.)

• Someone in a similar life stage
  Preferably someone in their 20s or early 30s, with a similar lifestyle and goals — stable job, keen to invest, and looking to build equity rather than continue renting.

• Clear exit plan in 3–5 years
  My goal would be to buy out your share within 3–5 years, allowing you to walk away with a solid return or use the equity to buy your own place. I’m open to discussing how we structure this to suit both our needs.

A Bit About Me:

• I’m in my early 20s, have a stable job, and can comfortably service a mortgage of $350K — which would actually be cheaper than my current rent in Surfers!

• I have some savings to contribute toward the deposit.

• I love the beach, long walks, and keeping a tidy, peaceful home. I’d really value a housemate who enjoys a calm space but doesn’t mind being social here and there.
