Seeking Co-Investor or Joint Resident for Property Purchase in Brunswick (50/50 Split Ownership)

I’m looking for a like-minded person to go in with me on a property purchase in Brunswick — ideally either as a joint resident (co-living and co-owning) or a silent partner (I would then rent out the other room to pay your rent). The arrangement would be a 50/50 ownership split, with shared responsibilities and future flexibility.

What I’m Looking For:

• Co-investor able to contribute or service a mortgage of up to $750K ($1.4 combined)
  You should either be in a financial position to contribute to the deposit or have the borrowing capacity to share repayments on a loan of this size.

• Shared investment term of 5 to 12 years
  The idea is to co-own the property for a defined period, with a clear exit strategy. This could mean selling the property together or one party buying the other out in the future.

• Targeting Brunswick
  Brunswick is a high-demand area with strong growth potential — ideal for long-term investment and livability.

• Future Exit Strategy
  I’m open to discussing various ways we can wrap up the investment: through selling, refinancing, or a buy-out arrangement. Flexibility is key.

A Bit About Me:

• I’m in a secure, well-paying job and currently have around $70K in savings/ other investments

• I want to get into the property market in a strong location, but buying what I want in Brunswick is currently just out of reach.

• My plan is to purchase my own home independently in about 5 years, but I can’t do that and keep paying rent at the same time.

• A co-investment like this would allow me to leverage equity in the future while building stability and avoiding dead rent money.

• While I don’t yet have a fixed idea of how the exit would work, I’m open and flexible to figuring out what makes sense for both of us.
