Looking for Two Co-Investors for Apartment Purchase in Canberra

Hey! I’m looking for two like-minded people to go in together on buying an apartment in Canberra. The plan is to split the property into three equal shares. Whether you’re looking for a place to live or just want to invest and rent out your share – both options are welcome.

About the Property:

• Brand new apartment located in central Canberra

• Target price: around $800K

• Each person would contribute roughly $275K in capital

• Modern, low-maintenance, and in a great location for either living or renting

A Bit About Me:

• I’m in my early 20s, just started a graduate role with the Department of Defence

• The job runs for 2 years but there’s a good chance it’ll be extended

• It’s a stable, well-paying job and I’m keen to stop throwing money away on rent

• I plan to live in the apartment and rent out the spare rooms, unless you’d like to live in too

What I’m Looking For:

• Ideally, people in a similar life stage (young professionals, recent grads, etc.) or those just wanting to invest in Canberra property

• Open to flexible exit strategies – we could sell in 3–5 years, I could buy you out later, or we could just keep renting it out as an investment

• Mostly just want it to be fair, transparent, and mutually beneficial
