Looking for silent equity partner for 1/3 of Toowong apartment

Hi! My work is transferring me to Brisbane for the next four years, so I’m looking to buy an apartment rather than rent while I’m there.

I can comfortably afford the mortgage repayments, but I’m a little short on the deposit. I’m hoping to find a silent equity partner who would be interested in purchasing around a one-third share of an apartment valued at approximately $950,000.

I’d live in the property and pay rent for your share, and I’m also considering renting out the second bedroom to help cover some of the ongoing costs.

As my transfer is only for four years, I’d be looking to sell the property (or my share) and exit the arrangement at the end of that period, so having a clear exit strategy from the outset is important to me.
