EOI: apartment near UQ, St Lucia

Hi! My husband and I are looking to purchase an apartment near UQ for our son while he completes his medicine degree.

We’ve recently downsized our family home, so we’re in a position to contribute around 50% towards the purchase. Rather than buying the entire property ourselves, we’re wondering if there’s another family in a similar position—or perhaps a postgraduate student—who would be interested in purchasing the other half.

Our son would live in one bedroom, with the other owner (or their child) living in the second. We’d be looking to purchase somewhere close to the university so it’s convenient for day-to-day study and student life.

Our plan is to own the apartment for around five years before either selling the property or selling our share, but we’re happy to discuss what works best for everyone.
